The protagonists in the book RULES are Catherine because she was the main character.David her little brother with autism who she teaches rules too.Kristi her new neighbor.Jason was a hero because he was like her best friend.These people are considered protagonists because they were always good through the story.Catherine was a good person she helped Jason with his cards and was a good friend.Kristi was a good friend to Catherine.David and Catherine had some differences,but they conquered them in the end.Jason was in a wheel chair and couldn't talk but was like a best friend to Catherine.
