Conflict

The main character Catherine who is twelve years old just wants to have a a normal life.Which is impossible when she has a little brother named David that has autism and her family only cares about his disability.Catherine writes a list of rules that David must follow like"a peach is not a funny looking apple" or "keep your pants on in public",so that people would not see his embarrassing behavior.Catherine felt like her parents only thought about David and she got sick of it how her dad is always working and never has time.She wanted her parents to think about her for once and not only David and his needs,but hers too.
